Very happy to announce that Flotsam Sessions has been awarded a National Lottery Project Grant from the Arts Council England... we couldn't be more delighted that they've decided to support diverse, inclusive and high-quality music than represents the very best of London, and is open to all. 🎶
What will it include?
This project, called ‘Community, Performance, Leadership’ will allow us to run:
Rehearsals of the Flotsam Orchestra at the wonderful Rosetta Arts in Newham
Our open workshop & jam session at the Jamboree in Kings Cross
…And for the first time ever, TWO four-day residencies (kicking off our year in May, and another at the end of October), with two big gigs.
We can’t wait to get started, and we hope you’ll join us on this journey!
