MAYA MCCOURT
Project Manager/Artistic Director

Maya is a cellist, singer, facilitator and part-time shaker enthusiast. She’s a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, and has a Masters Degree in Music in Development form SOAS in London. She has worked across the world and performs regularly across the UK and further. She works with the refugee charity Play for Progress, and is a project coordinator for JMI’s Ethno England, as well as running Flotsam Sessions.

MOA NORRSELL FAHLANDER
Marketing

Moa is a singer, guitarist, mandolin & kora player, with a background in Ethnomusicology @ SOAS and MA Applied Anthropology & Community Arts @ Goldsmiths. She’s travelled across the world to play music, from Senegal to Sweden. She’s toured across Europe and UK with her band Yassassin + other projects. As well as working with Flotsam Sessions, she’s a programme manager & creative practitioner at the Youth Charity Pie Factory Music.
